MEP Project Engineer

Role Overview

This opportunity is for an MEP Engineer specializing in presales, estimation, tendering, and project reporting. The position is based in Riyadh and suits someone who can bridge technical evaluation with commercial proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technical and commercial quotations for MEP-related projects.
• Examine RFQs, BOQs, technical specifications, drawings, and tender packs in detail.
• Carry out pricing studies and estimate project costs accurately.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather inputs and support submissions.
• Compile bid documents and complete tender submissions within deadlines.
• Assist with presales conversations and client-facing technical explanations.
• Track project progress updates and summarize reports for internal use.
• Work with project teams to resolve technical queries and clarify scope.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Applicants should have 3 to 7 years of experience in MEP estimation, presales, or tendering.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, BOQ development, and cost estimation methods is essential.
• Prior experience coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors is expected.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD is required.
• Good communication and analytical abilities are important.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia is considered an added advantage.
