Moving Staff

About the Role

A major Japanese logistics and moving company is hiring moving staff for its Frankfurt branch. This role is a good fit for people who can provide polite, Japanese-style service and have experience in customer-facing work, even if they have never worked in moving before. Candidates from a broad range of backgrounds may be considered. Applicants holding a German working holiday visa with almost one year of validity remaining may also apply, and visa sponsorship may be considered later depending on performance.

What You’ll Do

You will support moving services mainly for Japanese customers. The work includes packing and loading/unloading items, dealing directly with customers, carrying out pre-move inspections, and handling related administrative tasks.

Requirements

Applicants should understand courteous customer service in the Japanese style. Prior customer service experience is preferred. A valid manual transmission driving licence is required. Native-level Japanese is essential, and you should also be able to communicate in English. You must be willing to travel within Germany, including overnight business trips.

Employment Details

This is a permanent full-time position. The starting date is as soon as the hiring decision is made. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour break. The workplace is in Frankfurt, Germany.

Visa Information

Only candidates who already have the right to work in Germany without employer sponsorship may apply. Applicants with a working holiday visa that still has close to one year of validity are also eligible to be considered. If performance is strong, visa sponsorship may be offered when the working holiday visa ends.
