Role Overview
A family in Madeley, Western Australia is looking for a nanny to support a lively household with three children aged 5, 3, and 1. The home is active, playful, and centered on learning, fun, and family time. The children enjoy bikes, construction toys, diggers, and educational play.
The two older children attend school or kindy on weekdays, while the youngest remains at home and needs main daytime care.
Schedule, Start, and Pay
- Workdays: Thursday and Friday
- Hours: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Pay: Hourly rate is negotiable and will depend on experience
- Initial commitment: 4-month contract with a review at the end
Key Duties
- Provide day-to-day care for the 1-year-old child
- Handle feeding, playtime, and settling the child down for naps
- Assist with after-school and after-kindy care for the older children, including feeding, changing, and settling
- Prepare meals for the children
- Support school or kindy drop-offs and pick-ups when needed; a vehicle is available
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and caring environment

Requirements
- Background in caring for babies and young children
- Dependable, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong hygiene standards, including staying away when unwell and practicing thorough hand hygiene
- Driver’s licence preferred; a car can be provided if needed
- Willingness to commit to the role for at least 4 months
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid National Police Check
- At least 3 years of experience working with children
