Role Overview

This position is focused on keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly across equipment handling, inventory movement, quality checks, and shipment preparation. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured procedures in a quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run, observe, and care for equipment and machinery in line with standard operating procedures, forms, and checklists.
  • Track production output and process performance to help achieve operational targets, quality standards, and management KPIs.
  • Support accurate inventory tracking for raw materials, components, and finished goods, including material transfers in the ERP system.
  • Carry out regular quality inspections on work-in-progress and completed products to confirm they meet required specifications.
  • Help ensure customer requirements are met by preventing non-conformance, maintaining traceability, and supporting compliance through documentation, inspections, sampling, testing, and audits.
  • Diagnose minor equipment issues and escalate more complex faults to the maintenance team.
  • Accept incoming materials, compare deliveries with purchase orders, and flag any mismatches or discrepancies.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch through proper packaging, labeling, and paperwork, while meeting agreed timelines and shipment requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping to improve productivity, quality, safety, and uptime.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Qualifications

  • A diploma in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing, or an equivalent background in logistics or supply chain management.
  • At least 1 to 3+ years of practical experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution, preferably within a technology or hardware business.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 20 kg and remain standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, comfort with repetitive tasks, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Background

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt is an advantage.
  • Experience with light manufacturing, technical assembly, or kitting work is beneficial.
  • Basic working knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite and warehouse management systems such as NetSuite WMS is a plus.
  • Exposure to an operations model involving a third-party logistics provider is preferred.
