- Study performance data, spot bottlenecks, and take action to improve outcomes.
What a typical day looks like
- Lead initiatives related to safety, employee engagement, network speed, and cost control across the region.
- Run daily stand-ups, weekly business reviews, monthly business reviews, and peak-readiness calls.
- Use data analysis to find blockers in performance and introduce improvement methods such as Kaizen and continuous improvement.
- Review and lock the labor plan for the site so costs stay efficient while performance and associate experience remain strong.
- Guide Ops Managers, question existing methods, and help build a culture of continuous improvement and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with site leaders, regional leaders, and central teams to benchmark and spread best practices on the floor.
Skills and traits Amazon is looking for

- Comfort handling ambiguous and changing situations.
- Clear communication, active listening, and the ability to align teams on goals.
- Strong planning skills with the ability to set timelines and deliver against them.
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on service quality.
- High ownership and follow-through.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to evaluate facts, compare options, and assess risks.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain.
- 3+ years of experience in managing employees and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or at least 2 years of experience as an Amazon blue badge/FTE employee.
