Operations Strategy Expert (m/w/d)

Role Overview

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is looking for an Operations Strategy Expert to help shape strategic operational initiatives and support leadership in a global, complex industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of developing strategic operations topics together with the relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a sparring partner and advisory support for senior management on strategic matters.
• Design end-to-end concepts for complex strategy projects in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Carry out detailed strategic analyses across regions, product lines, and plants to identify and assess potential opportunities.
• Build a KPI dashboard with key operations metrics to support competitiveness tracking.
• Develop new business models for a complex industry and help bring them to market.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses for senior leadership as needed.
• Plan and monitor committed spending together with controlling, and create milestone tracking for major projects.

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in economics, engineering, or a similar field.
• Several years of professional experience in strategy or business development, ideally gained in an international corporation or consulting firm.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex strategic projects, preferably in operations.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience leading demanding projects.
• Structured, goal-oriented, and analytical thinking combined with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, along with strong communication abilities in German and English.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high sense of responsibility, and willingness to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
