- Work with clients to explain architecture choices, platform capabilities, and other technical considerations.
- Ensure the project makes use of proven frameworks, reusable assets, OutSystems Forge components, and custom accelerators where appropriate.
- Resolve technical issues affecting the team, including performance tuning, integration difficulties, and platform-specific challenges.
Organisation development

- Share platform knowledge across the organisation through Communities of Practice and other internal forums.
- Prepare and deliver technical training on OutSystems development, architecture patterns, and best practices.
- Add practical learnings from OutSystems projects to the internal knowledge base.
Business development
- Contribute to pre-sales work by reviewing proposed technical solutions and effort estimates.
- Support client presentations and proof-of-concept demonstrations with technical input.
- Assist technical pre-sales teams with OutSystems-specific solution design and estimation.
Requirements

- Usually 10 to 15 years of experience in technical roles involving architectural and design responsibilities.
- At least 5 years of practical, hands-on experience with OutSystems, covering O11 and/or ODC.
- Proven background in building and deploying large, scalable production applications on OutSystems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, together with knowledge of OutSystems cloud deployment models.
- Working understanding of DevOps tools and practices, including OutSystems LifeTime and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong grasp of modern IT technologies and how they integrate with OutSystems.
- Familiarity with enterprise technology standards and specifications.
- Qualified in a computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or equivalent IT-related discipline.
- Must be able to travel as needed.
- Candidates should be ready to present valid certifications, project portfolio, architecture work, and evidence of technical leadership during the interview process.
Professional competencies
