Part-Time Copywriter (Remote)

Role Overview

Business Marketing Engine is hiring a detail-focused Copywriter to support its remote team. This position is suited to someone who enjoys writing, refining, and overseeing copy work from beginning to end in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation and Schedule

The role pays $18 per hour and follows a part-time schedule of 20 hours each week, Monday through Friday, in EST. The position is fully remote and can be performed from home.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will create and polish copy that fits client branding and project goals, help manage copy workflows, and coordinate with internal teams to keep deliverables on track. You may also review or attend client discussions to better understand scope and expectations. Research, editing, and proofreading will be a regular part of the job to ensure the final output is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the company’s style standards.

Success Expectations

Strong performance in this role means delivering high-quality copy on time or ahead of schedule while working smoothly with Project Managers and other team members to maintain efficient workflows.

Requirements

The company is seeking someone with strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading ability, excellent grammar, and sharp attention to detail. Prior experience in copywriting is expected, with marketing or journalism backgrounds preferred. The role also calls for leadership and team support skills, clear communication, solid time management, and comfort using tools such as Google Docs, Monday.com, and remote collaboration platforms. Candidates should be self-directed, organized, professional, and able to work independently. A dependable internet connection, backup power, and a computer suitable for part-time remote work are required, along with a willingness to ask questions, keep learning, and grow in the role.
