The Role

In this position, you will support the Payroll Manager and manage the complete payroll cycle to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run monthly payroll, including overtime, allowances, unpaid leave, claims, statutory items, and other employee payments.
  • Handle NS make-up pay submissions, as well as maternity and childcare leave claims.
  • Draft overpayment recovery letters for staff who have resigned and need to repay excess salary.
  • Compile monthly payroll journals, reports, accruals, and finance cost allocations.
  • Prepare and distribute e-payslips.
  • Manage tax clearance filings, monthly CPF submissions, and annual income tax submissions.
  • Contribute to HR and payroll-related projects and process improvements.
  • Respond to employee questions and concerns related to payroll.

Candidate Profile

You should have a diploma in Business, Human Resources, or an equivalent qualification. Fresh graduates are welcome, and candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a busy environment will have an advantage. Familiarity with the Frontier e-HR system would be useful. Strong Excel skills, especially pivot tables and VLOOKUP, are important, along with an organized, detail-focused approach and the ability to work well in a team. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also needed.
