Role overview
Elite Fire Protection Systems is looking for a Project Engineer to support its fire protection operations in Qatar. This is an on-site opportunity for an experienced professional who can manage project delivery across fire alarm, fire detection, fire fighting, and fire suppression systems.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of projects related to fire alarm, fire detection, fire fighting, and fire suppression systems.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, and on-site execution teams to keep work aligned.
- Track timelines, manpower, materials, and overall project progress.
- Assist with installation activities, testing, commissioning, and final project handover.
- Examine technical drawings, project specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Make sure all work follows NFPA requirements, QCDD guidelines, HSE rules, and project-specific standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- At least 5 years of GCC experience working as a Project Engineer in fire protection systems is necessary.
- A valid UPDA/MMUP certification must be held.
- QCDD certification in Electrical or Mechanical discipline is required.
- Strong understanding of NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations is essential.
- Prior experience in planning, execution, testing, commissioning, and project closeout is expected.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities are important.
- Experience in Qatar will be considered an additional advantage.
