Project Manager

Role overview

Global-e is hiring an experienced Project Manager to coordinate client integrations and oversee implementation work after contracts are signed. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact between the company and its clients, ensuring projects move smoothly from handover to launch.

You will represent the client inside Global-e and represent Global-e to the client, taking ownership of delivery coordination, relationships, timelines, releases, and service-related items. The role calls for independent work within established professional guidelines, with responsibility for routine problem-solving and escalation handling when needed.

What you will do

• Apply project management methods, tools, and techniques to keep activities aligned with project goals and requirements.
• Take full ownership of customer projects from engagement through launch, including planning, commitments, and on-time delivery of the solution.
• Serve as the customer-facing lead and maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction.
• Coordinate, align, and monitor progress across cross-functional teams such as Development, Product, Infrastructure, and Integrations.
• Keep customers and internal stakeholders updated on progress and key developments.

Additional information

This position requires close collaboration with remote teams and the ability to manage priorities independently. The role may also involve extended working hours when business needs require it.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in project management.
• Prior experience managing external customers is essential.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Italian language skills are an advantage.
• Knowledge of additional foreign languages is also beneficial.
• Leadership ability, including motivating, coaching, supporting, and inspiring teams.
• Ability to understand technical concepts; a technical background or hands-on exposure to software development and web technologies is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one additional language is an advantage.
• Comfort working under deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks independently.
• Experience collaborating closely with distributed teams.
