About the company
CyberCX is a cybersecurity organisation with more than 1,400 team members working across Australia and New Zealand. Its purpose is to help protect communities and support businesses as they navigate a digital world.
Role overview
This position is a strong next step for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop in project delivery within the cyber sector. It sits at an entry-level to mid-level level and is well suited to professionals with roughly 1 to 2 years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or resource allocation.
As a Project Operations Specialist, you will help delivery teams operate effectively by ensuring the right people are assigned to the right work at the right time. You will partner with Project Managers, Practice Leads, and technical specialists to keep projects moving smoothly and to support a positive client experience.
This is not a senior project management role. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to build hands-on experience in project support while learning from experienced project leaders in a high-performing environment.
What you will do
- Plan and coordinate project resources so delivery timelines and client needs are met.
- Help prepare projects for launch, including handovers and kick-off sessions.
- Review scopes of work and assist in creating straightforward resource and project plans.
- Track workloads, identify potential gaps or risks, and support project progress.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Contribute ideas to improve resource planning and overall project efficiency.
What you should bring
- About 1 to 2 years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or operations support.
- A practical understanding of how projects are structured and why planning matters.
- Confidence using Excel or comparable tools to monitor schedules and workloads.
- Clear communication skills and an interest in relationship-building and problem-solving.
- A proactive and organised working style with strong follow-through.
Why join
- Flexible working arrangement with a mix of home and office time.
- Opportunities to grow your project and coordination capabilities in a fast-growing technology environment.
- Work that contributes to the security of Australia and New Zealand’s digital future.
- Access to corporate discounts, learning opportunities, and a supportive team culture.

Induction and onboarding for this role are scheduled to take place in September.
