Role Overview
Synechron is looking for a PySpark Developer to work on large-scale data engineering initiatives in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building, tuning, and supporting distributed data processing solutions for financial services and technology clients.
What You Will Do
- Develop and improve PySpark-based data processing logic with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Work with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
- Handle processing tasks in distributed and high-volume data environments.
- Apply data warehousing principles, ETL/ELT design patterns, and data modeling practices.
- Use Unix/Linux shell scripting and batch processing as part of daily engineering work.
- Support solutions built on Hadoop, Spark, and cloud data platforms where required.
- Contribute to data quality, metadata control, and governance-related processes.
Candidate Profile
- A graduate from any discipline may apply.
- Prior experience in PySpark development and optimization is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL is required.
- Exposure to large-scale data processing and distributed systems is important.
- Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem tools, Spark, and cloud-based data platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and governance concepts will be an advantage.
