Quality Control Engineer

Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai for a Quality Control Engineer. The role centers on making sure piping and fittings products, along with related processes, consistently meet required quality benchmarks. The position involves inspection and testing, applying quality assurance procedures, spotting process or production issues, reviewing data for trends or irregularities, and working closely with teams across the business to drive ongoing improvement. The engineer will also help ensure compliance with relevant regulations and support corrective action implementation when needed.

Key Duties

• Carry out quality checks and testing activities for piping and fitting products and related processes.
• Apply QA procedures and help identify, investigate, and resolve production or process issues.
• Review inspection and testing results to identify patterns, deviations, or inconsistencies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help maintain adherence to applicable regulatory and technical standards.
• Support corrective action efforts where quality gaps are found.
• Assist QC Managers and Senior Engineers with inspections, testing, MTC reviews, and project specification alignment in coordination with the sales team.
• Participate in routine QA/QC activities such as inspections, documentation control, and coordination with clients and third-party inspectors.
• Prepare and update QA/QC records, including ISO-related documents, calibration logs, and inspection reports.
• Keep documentation accurate, current, and aligned with project expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of piping material standards and construction codes such as ASME, ASTM, BS-EN, DIN, and NACE, with the ability to apply them under supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, along with close attention to detail and a readiness to learn. Candidates should be comfortable using MS Office, and experience with ERP systems is an advantage. Good teamwork, interpersonal ability, and a positive attitude are essential. The role also requires the ability to work under pressure with guidance and adapt as needed. Certifications in AWS, CSWIP, NDT, or ISO will be viewed favorably.
