Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Ramp Agent position in Doha, Qatar involves handling baggage, cargo, and equipment safely as they move to and from aircraft, while strictly observing security and safety procedures. The role includes operating ground support equipment, placing aircraft support tools in position, and assisting with aircraft marshaling when directed by supervisors. It also requires basic exterior aircraft visual checks during turnaround, keeping ramps and work areas orderly and hazard-free, coordinating with airline and airport personnel, responding quickly to instructions, and supporting customer-facing tasks when required, all while following aviation rules and company policies.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate ground service equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and other airport vehicles when assigned.
• Help position aircraft support tools and assist with aircraft marshaling under supervision.
• Carry out basic exterior visual inspections of aircraft during turnaround activities.
• Keep ramps and operational areas clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
• Work closely with airline staff, airport teams, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond promptly to operational directions and complete assigned tasks within schedule.
• Support customer-facing duties when needed while maintaining a professional approach.

Qualifications

• Capable of performing loading and unloading duties safely, including repeated lifting and work in changing weather conditions.
• Comfortable using basic computer tools for reporting, task updates, and communication.
• Experience with, or training in, heavy airport equipment is useful; candidates willing to learn will also be considered.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing professionally with airline and airport stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of airport ramp operations, or a genuine interest in learning the procedures.
• High school education or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Available to work rotating schedules, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, based on flight operations.
• Committed to safety, detail-oriented, and able to follow both written and spoken instructions in English.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods, move heavy items, and work outdoors in an airport setting.
