Role Overview
This position is for a welcoming, organised receptionist to become part of the team in Dublin 8. The role centres on creating a positive first impression for visitors, handling front-desk administration, supporting office operations, and helping maintain a secure and professional reception environment.
Key Duties
- Receive visitors in a courteous, professional way and notify the appropriate team member when they arrive.
- Manage incoming calls, route them correctly, take messages, and ensure follow-up happens promptly.
- Arrange courier services when needed and keep accurate records of all courier requests.
- Accept and sign for deliveries received during the day.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Personal Insurance team and other departments when required.
- Respond to customer questions and share basic information about the company and its services.
- Book meetings and appointments, including reserving meeting rooms as necessary.
- Keep the reception area clean, organised, and presentable throughout the day.
- Support office security by following safety procedures, managing building access at reception, and issuing visitor passes or badges.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a polished and friendly manner, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organised in a busy environment. Prior reception or general administration experience is preferred, though it is not essential.
