Role Overview
Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced recruiter to take ownership of hiring activity in a busy, fast-moving setting. The position suits someone who already understands core recruiting practices, can manage their own workload with confidence, and wants to develop stronger sourcing, strategic partnering, and talent acquisition skills.
This position supports high-volume hiring for technical, engineering, and professional services roles. You will work closely with senior recruiters on sourcing plans, challenging searches, pipeline building, and creative recruiting efforts. The role is fully remote.

What You Will Do
- Handle a large number of open requisitions across engineering, technical, and professional services functions while staying organized and responsive.
- Work with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR partners to support hiring plans and recruitment goals.
- Find active and passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social platforms, Boolean searches, networking, and other creative sourcing methods.
- Assist senior recruiters with targeted sourcing projects and difficult technical searches.
- Create persuasive outreach messages and job ads that attract candidates in competitive markets.
- Keep candidate data, workflows, and recruiting actions up to date in the applicant tracking system.
- Screen candidates and arrange interviews while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Support recruitment marketing, social recruiting, and employer branding efforts.
- Monitor recruiting activity and sourcing results to help guide data-driven decisions.
- Stay informed on hiring trends, sourcing tools, AI-enabled recruiting technology, and talent market insights.
- Provide support for university recruiting and early-career hiring initiatives when needed.
Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recruiting experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, or staffing.
- Background in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector.
- Experience managing multiple open requisitions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using applicant tracking systems and other recruiting technologies.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social sourcing, and internet search methods.
- Strong written communication skills, especially for outreach and candidate engagement.
- Highly organized with careful attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- Self-starter mindset with curiosity and a willingness to expand sourcing and recruiting capabilities.
- Ability to balance day-to-day recruiting operations with creative sourcing support.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Oracle Taleo.
Work Setup and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work remotely from a home office or another suitable workspace.
- Should be able to sit, stand, and work at a computer for long periods while handling recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, and administrative tasks.
- Must be able to communicate clearly by phone, video, email, and other digital collaboration tools.
Work Environment
- This is a fully remote position.
- There may be minimal travel for industry events or team gatherings.
