Role Overview
The organization is looking for a driven and strategically minded Recruitment Manager to oversee hiring strategy and execution across the full employee spectrum, from factory-floor operators to senior supervisors. The role is based in Takoradi and sits within the GH HR Department, reporting to the HR Manager.
About the Company
Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is a major ceramics manufacturer supplying high-quality tiles to Ghana and the wider West African market. As part of the global Keda Group, the business combines modern technology with sustainable practices to deliver innovative products and support career growth in a fast-expanding industrial setting.
What the Role Involves
This position requires an energetic, influential professional who can lead recruitment efforts while also serving as a confident public representative for the employer brand. The ideal person will be comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders, engaging with communities, negotiating offers, and building strong talent pipelines in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Core Duties
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for skilled workers, functional employees, and factory staff, ensuring openings are filled promptly.
- Create and execute sourcing plans that may include proactive candidate pipelines, campus engagement, and digital hiring campaigns.
- Lead, coach, and monitor the recruitment team, setting performance targets and promoting a strong results-oriented culture.
- Administer the Offer Approval workflow, keep recruitment dashboards updated, and prepare quarterly talent acquisition reports for leadership.
- Coordinate the onboarding process with relevant departments so that new hires are integrated smoothly and all documents are completed correctly.
- Handle salary discussions for important and specialised roles, balancing market competitiveness with cost control.
- Represent the company in meetings with government offices, industry groups, artisan associations, and community leaders to strengthen its reputation as an employer.
- Plan and lead hiring campaigns in targeted communities while building trusted relationships with local influencers, assembly members, and community heads.
- Promote the company’s culture, values, and career opportunities to attract a diverse range of applicants.
- Review recruitment policies, tools, and channels regularly to improve speed, efficiency, and candidate experience.
- Ensure hiring activities comply with Ghanaian labour law and maintain accurate records, including the confirmation process for casual workers.
Candidate Expectations
Preference will be given to an internal candidate who already understands the organisation’s systems and people and is ready to take on a leadership position. The successful applicant should bring a warm, approachable personality, a professional appearance, strong organisation, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while delivering results. The role also calls for strong networking ability, persuasive public speaking, and the confidence to turn interest into committed employment.
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a master’s degree will be an added advantage. Candidates should have 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience should cover both high-volume industrial hiring and professional white-collar recruitment. Strong English communication skills, analytical ability, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, familiarity with applicant tracking systems or online hiring platforms, and proven leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills are also expected.
Benefits
The company offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, accommodation, and a defined pathway toward senior HR leadership. The role also provides exposure to both operational and strategic HR work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the transformation of Ghana’s industrial workforce.

Interested internal and external candidates were asked to submit a CV and cover letter by email with the subject line “Recruitment Manager Application”.
