About the Role
GREIG CITY ACADEMY, an active school community serving primary and secondary education, is hiring a Remote Project Manager to oversee important initiatives from home. The organization has a team of 51-200 people and focuses on delivering quality education while encouraging a forward-looking learning environment. This role is suited to someone who enjoys managing projects independently and contributing to the school’s development and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee different school projects so they stay aligned with educational objectives and scheduled deadlines.
- Keep in regular contact with teachers and administrative staff to share progress updates and collect input.
- Use project management software and tools to track milestones, spot risks early, and put practical solutions in place.
- Run online meetings and workshops that help involve stakeholders and improve teamwork.
- Compile and deliver project reports that summarize results, achievements, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Background in project management, ideally with prior exposure to the education field.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with the leadership skills needed to guide remote teams.
- Good planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Comfort using project management applications and related software.
- Ability to work on your own and make sound decisions with limited oversight.
