Role Overview
This position is for a Research Analyst responsible for reviewing project documents, investigating vendor information, and supporting the bidding process through coordination, communication, and documentation. Candidates should be highly serious about the role and ready for a demanding remote work environment.
Core Duties
- Read and analyze project documents, then summarize and explain the key points clearly.
- Reach out to vendors through calls and messages to discuss project details.
- Communicate project expectations and requirements to vendors.
- Arrange and confirm site visits with vendors and project points of contact.
- Collect questions and clarify project scope with both vendors and project stakeholders.
- Negotiate quotations and other supporting documents from vendors.
- Prepare the complete documentation package required for bidding.
Required Skills and Experience
- Very strong command of English in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Ability to review roughly 150 to 250 documents per day and explain their content.
- Experience with outbound calling and texting to vendors.
- Solid research capability to locate vendors using Google, Bing, Yellow Pages, Google Maps, and similar tools.
- Good project coordination and follow-up skills.
- Strong negotiation ability when dealing with vendors.
- Comfort with PDF editing, Google Docs, spreadsheets, and CRM tools.
- Intermediate-level Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and an interest in learning new ways to apply artificial intelligence.
- At least 4 years of work experience.
Compensation and Work Setup
The role includes one month of paid training with earnings in the range of INR 12,000 to INR 14,500 during the training period. After training, the pay is INR 35,000 to INR 45,000 plus commissions. This is a remote position with expected working hours of around 10 to 11 hours per day.
Work From Home Requirements
- A laptop with at least an Intel i3 processor.
- Internet speed of at least 10 Mbps.
- Ability to communicate and share screen over Zoom.
- A quiet environment with no background noise.
- Ability to keep the microphone muted when not speaking.
- Power backup for electricity interruptions.
