Role overview
As a Sales Development Representative on the NZ Sales Team, you will report to the Sales Development Manager and play an important part in accelerating growth by creating more qualified leads and opportunities. The position can be performed from anywhere in New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
Create new sales opportunities by following up on leads and using outbound phone calls and email outreach.
Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers in assigned accounts to generate interest in Employment Hero’s solutions.
Work closely with Account Executives to pass along strong opportunities for further progression and closing.
Keep the prospect database active and expanding so there is a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
Run discovery conversations to understand customer needs and requirements.
Conduct account research to find the right contacts and open conversations with them.
Support engaging online demonstrations for prospects when required.
Candidate profile
To succeed in this role, you should align with the EH Way and bring a focused, adaptable, and impact-driven approach to work. The team is looking for someone with proven outbound B2B sales experience, a strong phone manner, and the ability to stay resilient in high-volume calling environments.
You should also be comfortable using sales tools and managing a busy pipeline while communicating clearly and effectively with prospects and internal teams.
