Role overview
Join the Adelaide branch of a global market leader as a Sales Manager, where you will guide, coach, and develop a team of Sales Consultants. This is a hands-on leadership position reporting to the Branch Manager and suited to someone who is organised, efficient, and motivated to build strong sales performance.
The role combines office-based planning with time spent in the field supporting your team. You will help shape a high-performing, safety-focused sales culture, improve results, and ensure the business continues to grow through ethical and sustainable sales practices.
What you'll do
- Set, communicate, and track sales plans and performance goals that support business expansion.
- Lead the sales team with a focus on ongoing improvement and strong results.
- Drive growth through responsible sales practices with both existing clients and new customers.
- Pursue major accounts through prospecting, proposals, presentations, tender responses, and negotiation.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Grow the range of services delivered to current customers.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated success in a prior Sales Management position, ideally in a service-based environment.
- Strong experience in field or territory sales.
- Ability to work closely with Operations to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to coach, guide, and provide constructive direction to team members.
- Experience working with government organisations would be beneficial, though it is not mandatory.
Additional information
You will be part of a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative team culture. The company places safety at the centre of its operations, so maintaining compliance is a critical part of the role. The position also offers regular time away from the office while supporting the team in the field.
