Senior Manager - Artificial Intelligence

Role overview

This role sits within Technology & Infrastructure at Dubai Airports. The organization is expanding rapidly while keeping maintenance costs controlled, improving asset capability, and managing assets responsibly from build stage through disposal. What you will do

• Build, develop, and launch advanced AI solutions that address complex business needs and support innovation across the business.
• Create and run AI assurance processes so that all AI work aligns with ethics, risk controls, compliance obligations, and enterprise governance.
• Make sure AI models are secure, scalable, production-ready, and supported by strong lifecycle management, documentation, and traceability.
• Set standards for validating, testing, and monitoring models so that accuracy, performance, fairness, and explainability are maintained over time.
• Partner with data scientists, engineers, product teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver AI-enabled products and services.
• Contribute to the organization’s AI strategy by advising on advanced AI, automation, and new technologies while keeping commercial and operational goals in view.
• Present updates and recommendations to senior leaders and governance forums on AI risk, ethics, and assurance results.
• Work closely with Legal, Risk, Cybersecurity, and Compliance teams to support joined-up and well-defended AI decisions.
• Serve as a subject-matter leader by coaching, mentoring, and training teams on AI governance and best practices.

What the role requires

• A bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI models with tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or comparable frameworks.
• Strong programming ability in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning methods and algorithms.
• Solid understanding of Responsible AI, governance, and risk frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical ideas in business terms.
