Role Overview

The business is looking for a Senior Planner to join its expanding Dublin team. This onsite position involves ownership of planning activities across live and upcoming projects, with responsibility for schedule control, stakeholder coordination, and support for bidding activity.

Key Duties

• Build bid schedules that strengthen and support tender submissions.
• Create, update, and assess detailed master construction plans and project control processes for active projects.
• Compile progress updates and present them to senior leadership.
• Guide, support, and inspire a team of ambitious engineers.
• Manage relationships with existing clients and help grow long-term partnerships.
• Support business growth through engagement with prospective clients.
• Take full responsibility for assigned projects while assisting with other projects when required.
• Work with stakeholders to track project status, identify risks, and drive practical solutions.
• Maintain schedules across pre-construction, construction, and commissioning stages, while keeping reporting current.
• Represent planning in meetings with clients and subcontractors.

Requirements

• A degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• You should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, ideally with main contractor exposure.
• Strong working knowledge of planning software and BIM tools is expected, with Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6 preferred.
• The role suits someone who works independently, takes initiative, and is driven by results.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities are important.
• You must be a collaborative team player with proven experience in large-scale environments.
