Senior Project Manager

Role overview

Coforge is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to own end-to-end project delivery. The role focuses on driving timely execution, maintaining high quality, and keeping stakeholders satisfied. The position requires strong fluency in German and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across an onsite-offshore delivery setup.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, run, monitor, and complete projects from start to finish.
• Set the project scope, delivery schedule, key milestones, and staffing plan.
• Serve as the main contact for German-speaking stakeholders and keep communication clear and aligned.
• Lead delivery using Agile/Scrum or a hybrid methodology.
• Identify project risks, blockers, and interdependencies, and put mitigation actions in place early.
• Track progress and share regular updates and reports with leadership.
• Make sure work follows quality standards, SLAs, and governance requirements.
• Work closely with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Oversee budget, effort tracking, and efficient use of resources.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of project management experience in IT or software delivery.
• German fluency is mandatory, both spoken and written, at C1/C2 level.
• Hands-on experience delivering projects end to end.
• Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Background in risk management, planning, and reporting.
• Good organizational skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with the Pega platform and/or Customer Decision Hub (CDH) projects.
• Exposure to the travel domain, including airlines, railways, or transportation.
• Experience working in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are an added advantage.
