With more than 20 years in the industry, the organization has delivered complex and high-profile projects across sectors such as airports, hospitality, retail, and tall buildings. In the UAE, it has contributed to several landmark developments and operates as a fully integrated contractor through specialized business units that provide complete construction solutions.
Why this role matters
The Site Manager will be responsible for driving the execution of site works, with a particular emphasis on finishing activities. Success in this role means delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. The position also plays a key part in maintaining stakeholder alignment and overall site performance.

- Enforce ALEC’s health, safety, and environmental standards and help build a strong safety-first culture.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities, making sure issues are closed out promptly.
- Work with commercial teams on cost monitoring, variations, claims, and progress valuations.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to confirm technical compliance.
- Work closely with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and local authorities to resolve delivery issues.
- Coordinate testing, inspection, and validation activities to support successful handover.
- Assist with mobilisation, planning, site establishment, and implementation of the programme.
- Track site performance, identify risks early, and share regular progress reports with senior management.

The role also requires experience in site planning, resource deployment, productivity control, HSE systems, quality management, compliance, cost control, variation handling, and project reporting.
Skills and capabilities
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team-management ability, along with excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills. The role also demands the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving site environment, together with strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also needed.
Preferred background
Useful additional experience includes knowledge of local authority regulations and approval procedures, exposure to contract administration, procurement and tendering activities, and a track record of driving continuous improvement across site teams.
