Software Engineer / JD Edwards ERP Developer

Role Overview

This is a 3 to 6 month contract opportunity for an experienced JD Edwards developer supporting Yum! Brands. The position is fully remote and operates in a second shift schedule from 12:00 PM IST to 09:00 PM IST. The engagement has a possibility of extension.

What You Will Work On

The role centers on techno-functional work within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2, especially in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. You will build custom solutions, deliver enhancements, and develop integrations while working closely with functional stakeholders.

• Develop software components and applications from the ground up for new functionality and enhancements.
• Gather and analyze requirements to understand business needs, system interfaces, and functional behavior.
• Write code using programming, scripting, and database technologies.
• Maintain and improve existing solutions by fixing defects, handling changes in scope, and implementing enhancements.
• Follow engineering best practices such as coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and production support.
• Coordinate with functional teams and other technical stakeholders to deliver JD Edwards solutions.

Technical Focus

The assignment requires deep exposure to JD Edwards Orchestrator, JD Reports, business functions, API development, and Oracle databases. Scripting ability in Jython is needed, and J-Ruby is preferred.

Experience and Seniority

This role requires 8 years of experience, and that requirement is stated as non-negotiable. The job level described is level 3. The work involves routine-to-moderately complex assignments with regular review and guidance from senior team members.

Interview Process

Candidates will go through one technical interview round.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
