Spa Cleaner

Role overview

This position is part of the spa team at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role is a full-time, non-management position based on-site. The successful candidate will support a refined guest experience by keeping spa areas organized, welcoming, and immaculately maintained.

What you will do

• Welcome guests to the spa and explain how to use key areas such as locker rooms, lounge spaces, and hospitality stations.
• Offer refreshments and comfort items, including water, juice, and heated neck pillows.
• Respond to basic questions about the property and its amenities.
• Accompany guests between treatment rooms and other spa areas as needed.
• Review the schedule regularly during the day and stay updated on any changes.
• Keep work areas, treatment rooms, locker rooms, and lounge areas clean and orderly.
• Remove waste and used linens and place them in the correct disposal areas.
• At the end of each shift, secure equipment and replenish all required supplies.
• Restock towels, linens, amenities, and other items in locker rooms, lounge areas, and hospitality stations.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager and complete required safety training.
• Follow company procedures, maintain a professional appearance, safeguard company property, and provide courteous, attentive service.
• Use clear and professional communication, build positive working relationships, and carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work experience is required.
• No supervisory background is needed.
• No license or certification is required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods and to bend, twist, reach, pull, stoop, lift, or carry items weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Comfort working in a hospitality environment that expects strong service standards and attention to detail.
