Stellenbeschreibung
Overview
This role is a project-based opportunity with a company that partners with specialists to help test, assess, and improve AI systems for leading technology clients. It is not a permanent employment position; instead, contributors are brought in for specific projects.
Application Note
Applicants should send their CV in English and include their English proficiency level.
What the Work Involves
Responsibilities vary by project, but the work may include the following:
- Creating original computational statistics problems that mirror real research-style workflows.
- Writing Python-based problems that require tools such as NumPy, SciPy, or SymPy to solve.
- Designing tasks that are computationally demanding and not realistically solvable by hand within a reasonable period.
- Building problem sets that call for deeper reasoning in topics such as number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis.
- Grounding tasks in genuine research challenges or practical mathematical applications.
- Checking answers through Python and standard mathematical libraries.
- Writing clear problem statements and supplying verified correct solutions.
Candidate Profile
This role suits statistics professionals with Python experience who are open to part-time, non-permanent project work. The ideal background includes a degree in Statistics or a closely related subject, along with strong written English and the ability to work on numerical validation tasks.
Required Experience and Skills
- A degree in Statistics or a similar discipline.
- Python ability for numerical checking and validation.
- Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB, R, C, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, domain-specific libraries, or Stata can be considered equivalent programming experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience, which may come from applied work, research, or teaching.
- Advanced written English skills at C1 level or above.
- Professional certifications such as CMME, SAS Certifications, or CAP are viewed positively.
- Experience in international or applied projects is an advantage.
How the Process Works
The workflow is: apply, complete the qualification step or steps, join a project, finish the assigned tasks, and receive payment.
Project Time Expectations
During active phases, the expected workload is about 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and depends on project requirements; it is not a fixed guarantee and applies only while a project is active.
Compensation
Contributors on this project can earn up to the equivalent of $39 per hour, depending on their experience level and contribution speed. Pay can vary by project based on scope, complexity, and expertise requirements.
Additional Information
This opportunity is project-based and not a permanent role.
