Stock Coordinator

Position overview

The Stock Coordinator supports the smooth movement of merchandise by receiving, checking, storing, and tracking inventory while keeping stock levels accurate. This role also helps organize products efficiently and ensures items move from the stockroom to the sales floor without disruption. It involves close coordination with store leadership, sales teams, and other colleagues to maintain a well-organized back-of-house operation.

Key responsibilities

• Accept incoming merchandise and verify quantities both manually and through electronic checks to confirm accuracy.
• Review product condition and immediately flag any damaged or mismatched items to the store manager or assistant store manager.
• Store and handle goods correctly so products remain protected from damage.
• Sort and place stock in the stockroom according to store processes so items can be found and accessed quickly.
• Label newly received merchandise and process returns based on instructions from senior staff.
• Support sales associates by restocking shelves and ensuring product availability throughout the day.
• Stay alert to store security requirements and avoid any lapses in vigilance.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and overall orderliness in the store and stockroom.
• Be willing to work longer hours during sale and festival periods when required.
• Handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting items of up to 10 kg.
• Log all inward and outward stock movement and keep the related reports updated.
• Identify any missing price tags and report them promptly.
• Support stock count and stock take activities whenever required.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational ability and familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory. Prior experience in stock handling, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.

Work expectations

This position is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time, onsite role. The job may require extended working hours during peak sale and festival seasons. The role also requires the physical ability to lift around 10 kg and maintain a high level of attention to stock accuracy, store presentation, and security.
