About the Role
Brunch is a New York lifestyle brand known for comfort-focused footwear and a relaxed point of view. The brand is inspired by the spaces between major moments, bringing an everyday-luxury feel with a nostalgic take on travel and leisure.
The store manager will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience, keeping daily store operations running to a high standard, and supporting strong sales performance. The role calls for sound independent judgment and confident day-to-day decision-making to help ensure company policies are applied consistently.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, motivate, and guide a team of upbeat, high-achieving employees.
- Create team schedules at least two weeks ahead and oversee associate shift planning.
- Review time records, confirm working hours, and handle payroll processing.
- Run weekly store team meetings to review new products, operational updates, and team feedback.
- Oversee weekly stock counts, cleaning routines, and supply tracking.
- Develop lasting relationships with repeat customers through ongoing communication before and after visits, including event updates, purchase follow-ups, and casual check-ins.
- Greet each customer warmly, answer questions, direct them to products, and recommend styles that suit their needs.
- Maintain a polished store appearance and ensure product presentation standards are met.
- Manage merchandising, product placement, and care standards to support a smooth shopping experience.
- Handle incoming goods, returns, transfers, online order fulfillment, and store-to-store movement of stock.
- Set store targets and work with the team to achieve them.
- Take ownership of visual merchandising, including window presentations, seasonal floor changes, and storytelling through product display.
- Partner with the headquarters team to deliver in-store activations, community events, and local collaborations.
- Monitor and share key store performance data such as sell-through, conversion rate, and average transaction value.
Qualifications

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability are important for this role.
- Comfort using digital tools, social media, and e-commerce platforms is expected.
- You must bring honesty, integrity, and a professional approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed for working with customers and teammates in a patient and effective manner.
- You must be available for a flexible schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- A minimum of 2–3+ years of retail management experience is required, ideally in lifestyle, fashion, or footwear.
- Experience using POS and inventory systems is needed; familiarity with Shopify is a plus.
