Role Overview
This position supports the Human Resources function at a luxury hospitality property in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on helping manage employee relations, coordinating HR processes, and ensuring records, policies, and procedures are handled accurately and in line with company standards and applicable laws.
Key Duties
- Track employee relations matters, including follow-up actions and resolution progress.
- Support managers and leadership with HR-related issues and problem-solving.
- Check that recruitment and hiring activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies.
- Escalate employee relations concerns to HR leadership when needed.
- Respond to employee and management questions about HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Share information with employees about workplace relations, activities, and personnel programs.
- Maintain employee files and records accurately, including interview paperwork and I-9 documentation.
- Help organize annual employee surveys, including logistics, administration, and scheduling.
- Answer incoming calls and document messages carefully.
- Support hiring, training, scheduling, performance review, counseling, discipline, and employee motivation activities.
- Follow company safety and security requirements and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Protect confidential company information.
- Welcome guests professionally and communicate clearly with colleagues and callers.
- Use computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information.
- Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience is required.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is needed for this role.
- Ability to communicate professionally and maintain positive working relationships.
- Comfort with handling confidential information and routine administrative tasks.
- Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Al Hamra District, Southern Corniche, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The position is classified as non-management. The role involves in-person coordination with employees, supervisors, and leadership teams.
