Role overviewThis internship is designed for an energetic and self-driven HR intern who will assist the talent acquisition team with candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and hiring process support. The position provides practical exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle and is suited to candidates aiming to build a career in human resources and talent acquisition.Key responsibilitiesIdentify potential candidates using job boards, professional networks, internal talent pools, and other hiring channels.Review resumes and prepare a shortlist aligned with the role criteria.Make first-round HR screening calls to evaluate suitability and interest.Arrange and coordinate interviews between applicants and hiring managers.Keep candidate records current in recruitment trackers and applicant tracking systems.Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure a smooth recruitment journey.Support the creation of job descriptions and the posting of openings across relevant platforms.Contribute to employer branding activities and campus hiring efforts when needed.Prepare hiring updates and recruitment reports for ongoing tracking of progress.RequirementsOpen to students who are currently pursuing, or who have recently finished, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar discipline.Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good people skills.Well-developed coordination and organization abilities.Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and online hiring platforms.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy, fast-moving environment.Proactive approach, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.What you will gainYou will gain practical exposure to recruitment operations, direct collaboration with hiring managers and business teams, and hands-on experience in sourcing, candidate evaluation, and interview scheduling. The internship may also lead to a full-time opportunity, depending on your performance and the organization’s requirements.Compensation and durationThe stipend is INR 8,000 per month. The joining date is immediate, and the internship duration is 2 to 3 months.
