About the Team

The Data Talent Acquisition team is responsible for recruiting across several important business areas. Its coverage includes technical hiring for ByteDance’s wide-ranging product ecosystem, such as engineering, algorithm, machine learning, large language models, and AI positions, with TikTok serving as a major focus. The team also supports recruitment for the BytePlus go-to-market organization and the data center supply chain function, helping drive growth in both business and infrastructure areas.

In this role, you will work closely with technical leaders and business partners to understand changing hiring needs and bring in strong talent. Your efforts will help build high-performing teams that support innovation and long-term expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with hiring managers, HR business partners, talent sourcers, and other stakeholders to clarify workforce needs, build hiring plans, and meet recruiting goals across assigned business areas.
  • Lead and develop talent sourcers by hiring, coaching, training, and motivating them, while keeping sourcing priorities aligned with business objectives.
  • Source and engage exceptional talent through multiple channels, including direct applicants, employee referrals, talent mapping, and outside partners.
  • Maintain a strong hiring process by creating a positive candidate journey, improving efficiency, and keeping stakeholders aligned throughout recruitment.
  • Use data, market intelligence, and internal AI tools to improve recruiting outcomes, solve hiring bottlenecks, and contribute to strategic talent initiatives.
  • Serve as a champion for the employer brand and encourage strong cross-functional collaboration that supports sustainable business growth.
