Role Overview
The Technical Coordinator will act as a coordination point for the client’s project management team throughout the full project lifecycle. This position involves working closely with engineering, fabrication, construction, quality, and HSE functions to help keep steel structure projects moving smoothly and aligned with project expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between engineering, fabrication, construction, quality, and HSE teams to keep communication clear and timely.
- Work with cross-functional groups to support on-schedule delivery of project tasks and milestones.
- Examine project requirements, technical specifications, and related documents, then communicate important details to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in progress meetings and share status updates along with action items for ongoing project work.
- Help ensure that project execution follows applicable quality standards and HSE requirements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support successful delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant technical field is required.
- Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is mandatory.
- Prior experience working on steel structure construction projects is necessary.
- Strong spoken and written English skills are essential.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities are needed.
- Practical knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: steel structure engineering, fabrication, construction, QA/QC, and HSE.
