Role Overview

Devoteam is hiring a Technology Architect to steer enterprise architecture, digital transformation, cloud migration, and technology consulting efforts. In this role, you will shape technology direction for clients, help translate business goals into practical architecture choices, and guide the adoption of modern solutions that improve efficiency and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and drive enterprise architecture approaches that support client business objectives.
• Build current-state and future-state technology and infrastructure architecture views that are efficient, sustainable, and adaptable.
• Lead architecture governance and make sure new solutions follow internal standards and budget limits.
• Support clients with digital transformation programs that strengthen business strategy and operational outcomes.
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions that improve customer experience, business processes, and productivity.
• Assess emerging technologies and consider how they may affect client organizations.
• Plan and execute cloud migration roadmaps, including platform selection and workload or data migration decisions.
• Recommend cloud architectures and services that match business requirements.
• Ensure cloud environments are scalable, dependable, and secure.
• Advise on the planning, purchasing, and rollout of IT hardware and software.
• Review existing environments to find gaps and propose corrective solutions.
• Manage the introduction of new systems and integrate them smoothly with current infrastructure.
• Work closely with IT and business leaders to understand priorities, constraints, and strategic direction.
• Present technology plans clearly to stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
• Mentor team members and help strengthen both technical and professional capability.
• Coordinate multiple projects from start to finish while keeping scope, budget, and timelines under control.
• Identify delivery risks and develop practical mitigation plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Hands-on experience as a Technology Architect and familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks are expected.
• Background in digital transformation and cloud transformation initiatives is important.
• Strong leadership, communication, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills are needed.
• The role calls for analytical thinking and a solid problem-solving mindset.
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, Google Cloud Architect Professional, CCNP, Microsoft Azure Architect Expert, VMWare Certified Professional, or similar are preferred.
• Practical experience across infrastructure and platform domains including servers, storage, networking, security, cloud computing, virtualization, and server operating systems is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration, SSO, and password management is needed.
• Experience with networking technologies and security, VPN, identity and access management, and VOIP is required.
• Solid background in Windows Server, VMware vCenter, Dell VxRail, EMC, PowerEdge servers, or comparable hyperconverged environments is required.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as SQL, SharePoint, SCCM, and SCOM is required.
