Role Summary
This position is a first-of-its-kind SDR hire for Scytale in New York. Rather than a standard outbound sales role, it is a foundational commercial role focused on helping build the company’s US market presence from scratch. You will work closely with the CEO, sales leadership, and the founding US team to create pipeline, sharpen messaging, test outreach ideas, and help shape the company’s go-to-market approach in North America.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, entrepreneurial, and motivated by the chance to make a visible impact in a rapidly growing company. This opportunity is best suited to someone who enjoys building structure, learning quickly, and contributing to something meaningful at an early stage of expansion.
What You Will Do
- Drive outbound prospecting activity across the US market.
- Connect with high-value prospects through calls, email, LinkedIn, events, and creative outreach efforts.
- Create qualified opportunities and help build sales pipeline for the team.
- Work with leadership to improve messaging, targeting, and outbound approach.
- Test new prospecting methods and develop repeatable playbooks for future SDRs.
- Build strong knowledge of the compliance and cybersecurity space.
- Partner with Account Executives during the sales process.
- Monitor results, share learnings, and support ongoing improvement of the US go-to-market engine.
What We’re Looking For
- 1 to 2 years of experience in SDR, BDR, or a similar outbound sales role.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to prospect effectively through cold calls, email, and LinkedIn.
- Self-driven mindset with a strong focus on results.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Good organizational ability and strong attention to detail.
- Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce is an advantage.
- Collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn and develop.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Background in SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, or another B2B technology environment is a strong plus.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Join as one of the earliest commercial team members in the US.
- Work closely with leadership and directly influence strategy.
- Help establish the foundation of the company’s US sales organization.
- Have a clear growth path as the North America team expands.
- Be part of a company with strong product-market fit and significant investment in the US.
Benefits and Perks
- Comprehensive health coverage.
- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Flexible hybrid work arrangement.
- Flexible paid time off, plus 80 hours of sick leave.
- 11 company-paid holidays.
- Commuter and lunch support.
- Virtual team activities, lunch-and-learns, and company-wide events.
- Access to offices in New York City, Tel Aviv, Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Prague.
- Opportunities for career and personal development.
- Exposure to an innovative product in security and compliance.
- Learning support through courses, conferences, and mentorship.
- Supportive and collaborative team culture.
Compensation
The total on-target earnings for this role are $120,000. Base compensation is shared for US roles in line with transparency practices and is benchmarked against comparable growth-stage companies. Final offers may vary based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
