Role Overview
This position is focused on automation-driven operations for virtual desktop and cloud-related environments. The ideal candidate will use scripting and platform tools to reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and support stable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Python and Ansible scripts to automate routine operational activities.
- Support virtual desktop hosting platforms, with hands-on involvement in VMware Horizon products.
- Use PowerShell and command-line tools to help with automation and day-to-day operational support.
- Design and implement automation approaches that make operational workflows faster and more efficient.
- Work with Splunk for monitoring, reviewing logs, and assisting with troubleshooting whenever needed.
- Develop or support web-based tools when they help improve operational productivity.
- Coordinate with teams working on cloud technologies.
- Investigate issues and support automated processes as well as virtual environments.
Required Skills
- Strong scripting ability, especially in Python and Ansible.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell and command-line utilities is an advantage.
- Understanding of virtual desktop hosting environments.
- Familiarity with VMware Horizon products.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- Experience with Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting is beneficial.
- Web development knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to automate operational tasks through programming and scripting.
