AI & Data Delivery Lead

About the role

Deloitte is looking for an AI & Data Delivery Lead to help steer major banking transformation work powered by artificial intelligence and data-led solutions. This senior position sits within the Technology and Transformation team and focuses on shaping customer experiences, improving decision-making, and raising the quality of digital delivery for large enterprise clients.

You will work in a collaborative environment that combines challenge, innovation, and a strong people-first culture. The role is based in Dublin or Cork and follows a flexible hybrid working model that blends office time with remote working.

What you'll do

• Lead AI and data programmes from early discovery through build and deployment.
• Oversee delivery teams working on AI, machine learning, and analytics solutions, while coaching them to perform at a high level.
• Partner with clients to turn business goals into practical AI and data initiatives.
• Make sure projects follow regulatory obligations and data governance standards at every stage.
• Introduce emerging AI capabilities into complex enterprise environments to create business value.
• Manage risks, schedules, and budgets to keep programmes on track and deliverable.
• Work closely with stakeholders across all levels to align expectations, influence decisions, and support shared outcomes.
• Encourage ongoing improvement, learning, and knowledge sharing within the team.

What we're looking for

We are seeking someone with substantial experience leading large AI, data, and digital transformation programmes, especially in enterprise settings where compliance and regulation matter. You should be comfortable managing modernisation or AI implementation work and have a strong understanding of AI platforms, infrastructure, tools, and advanced analytics.

Experience with agile ways of working and tools such as Jira and Confluence is important, along with relevant project management certification. The right candidate will be able to build and guide cross-functional teams, work confidently with senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes in a complex environment.
