About the Company

About the Role
This position focuses on quantity surveying and contract administration for construction projects. The work includes cost analysis, procurement support, progress and variation claims, and preparation of final accounts. The role works closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to keep costs under control, claims accurate, and contracts managed effectively.
Responsibilities
- Compile and review cost comparison exercises.
- Source quotations and coordinate negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Carry out quantity measurements and take-offs.
- Work with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, client representatives, and subcontractors to prepare accurate progress claims and variation claims.
- Handle contract-related matters between the main contractor and client, as well as between the main contractor and subcontractors.
- Ensure progress claims are submitted on time based on proper measurement of completed work.
- Prepare variation orders, claims, final accounts, settlement documents, and subcontractor payments.
- Perform other contract management duties as required.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Building, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 years of experience working as a Contract Manager in main contracting companies.
- Strong background in contract negotiation, contract administration, and variation order handling.
- Able to work independently with a careful, analytical, and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong problem-solving ability, initiative, teamwork, and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- Available to work a 5-day work week.
