  • Lead model audit work so that models are mathematically accurate and commercially appropriate.
  • Offer senior-level direction and practical insight to support successful assignment delivery.
  • Examine commercial documentation and ensure the financial model reflects it correctly.
  • Help build and improve financial modelling approaches and internal tools through ongoing innovation and refinement.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and staffing arrangements to support efficient delivery.

Leadership and Teamwork

  • Manage and guide a team of model audit professionals.
  • Coach, encourage, and direct junior colleagues on assignments.
  • Work closely with teammates, contributing to shared delivery and learning from others.
  • Explain model findings and recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Translate highly technical model issues into language that non-specialists can understand.

  • Contribute to business growth across an important sector of the company.
  • Support the creation and preparation of client proposals and pitches.
  • Run client meetings and strengthen long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in a financial role, ideally within a respected advisory firm or a large corporate environment.
  • Strong grounding in accounting principles; an accounting qualification is an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of project finance.
  • Excellent analytical ability with hands-on experience building and operating Excel-based financial models.
  • A degree in a numerate subject is required; a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance is considered beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the FAST financial modelling standard is preferred.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the company values of drive, innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Benefits

  • Competitive base pay.
  • Flexible working setup, with a mix of office work, work from home, and client-site work.
  • Strong opportunities for professional development as the business expands.
  • Access to advanced financial modelling tools and resources.
  • A collaborative and encouraging team environment.
