What you will do

The role involves supporting project information management, maintaining model quality, and helping teams work in line with information standards and digital delivery requirements.

  • Assist with managing the project information model so it can be shared with the project team and formally issued to the client team in line with exchange and security requirements.
  • Make sure the project or contract procedures follow BAM’s information standards and ISO 19650 expectations.
  • Help put model coordination and mobilisation plans in place and review them on a regular basis.
  • Check that all stakeholders use the common data environment correctly and in accordance with BAM standards, client requirements, and ISO 19650 where applicable.
  • Monitor the quality of both graphical and non-graphical model information and confirm that the required level of information is being delivered, escalating issues where needed.
  • Support the development of the project information model and review outputs from task teams, reporting any non-conformances.
  • Introduce digital processes across projects and contracts throughout the asset lifecycle as required.
  • Set up compliant workflows that meet client expectations, BAM standards, and ISO 19650 requirements, ensuring they are planned, documented, and clearly communicated.
  • Help develop the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).
  • Work with IT and the wider Digital Project Solutions team to ensure digital systems and working methods are practical, efficient, and suitable for the relevant stage of the project or asset lifecycle.
  • Identify technical issues users face with applications or tools and resolve them quickly to protect productivity and performance.

What you should bring

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a team, manages time well, and communicates clearly. A genuine interest in digital construction or digital facilities management is important, along with a working understanding of ISO 19650. You should also show BAM’s values in the way you work.

Education and experience

A higher education qualification in construction or a related subject is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered. The role calls for 1 to 2 years of experience in digital construction or digital facilities management, with familiarity in industry and tendering processes.

Application notes
