Role overview
This position is for a detail-focused Business Analyst who can review how the business operates, spot opportunities to improve performance, and help teams make decisions backed by data. The role involves working with stakeholders to understand needs and turning those needs into practical, actionable requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Assess business challenges and convert them into well-defined requirements.
- Carry out research, map processes, and document workflows clearly.
- Spot gaps in systems or operations and recommend ways to improve them.
- Work with teams across functions to help carry projects through implementation.
- Create reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Review project results and check that they support overall business objectives.
- Assist with data analysis and decision-making by using relevant tools.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, IT, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 2–4 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or a similar position.
- Strong analytical ability and a practical approach to solving problems are essential.
- Experience in gathering requirements and producing documentation is needed.
- Hands-on familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau is expected.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders are important.
- The role suits someone comfortable working in a fast-moving environment while handling several priorities at once.
Preferred capabilities
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum ways of working is an advantage.
- Knowledge of process improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma is preferred.
- An understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is useful.
- Strong skills in presenting information and writing reports are valued.
