Habitat Noosa is set within 65 acres of national parkland, around 25 minutes north of Noosa. The property offers a mix of stays, from camping sites through to luxury glamping tents, and its on-site bistro and brewery trade seven days a week with affordable meals and craft beers made in-house using artesian water.

The site sits within the wider G’day Group network, a major Australian tourism group with more than 2,000 employees and a nationwide portfolio of 300+ holiday parks, including 85+ that are fully owned and operated. The business is focused on delivering memorable Australian holiday experiences and is investing in technology, service, and growth across domestic and regional tourism.

Role Summary

The team is seeking qualified chefs, experienced cooks, and apprentices to join the kitchen at Habitat Noosa. With expansion underway, there are opportunities across different levels of the kitchen. The venue includes a full bistro and a micro-brewery on site.

The role covers a broad range of kitchen duties and calls for a strong work ethic, a team-first mindset, flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude. Shifts are available across a seven-day roster for lunch, dinner, and functions. Both full-time and casual work options are available, with pay to be discussed based on experience.

Work-life balance is valued, and the venue offers flexible hours, straight shifts, and the possibility of morning or evening work, including the option of a three-day weekend.

Working Conditions

Applicants must have the right to work and live within a 45-minute drive of Habitat Noosa.

The role may involve heavy manual tasks such as lifting up to 20 kg, kneeling, squatting, handling cleaning chemicals, and using machinery.

Recruitment Checks

Before any offer is made, candidates must authorise a Federal Police check for disclosure of any criminal offences or charges. If a Police Clearance issued within the last six months is already available, it should be uploaded to the profile.
