Role Overview

This opportunity is for an energetic and dependable cleaner to join a retail-site team in Chermside West, Queensland. The position suits someone who works well in a busy setting, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time onsite role with the following roster:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:54 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 10:24 AM to 6:00 PM

The role is paid according to the relevant award wage.

Key Duties

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard
• Clean and refresh furnishings by spot cleaning where needed
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean toilets and restroom areas
• Remove organic waste bins from retailers and empty them using a hydraulic bin machine
• Clean glass surfaces both inside and outside
• Dust hard surfaces thoroughly

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will have prior cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial setting. You should be comfortable working as part of a team while also being able to work independently and follow directions. Strong attention to detail, good customer service, dependable attendance, and punctuality are all important. A solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements is also expected. Flexibility to work varying hours and public holidays may be needed. Experience with floor-care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers would be an added advantage.
