- Manage portion control, stock usage, and waste reduction responsibly.
- Maintain creativity and uphold strong presentation standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant is organised, communicates well, and has strong interpersonal skills. You should be comfortable performing in a high-pressure kitchen environment and have experience across both à la carte service and prep/function kitchens.
A sound understanding of food quality control is important, along with formal chef trade qualifications. Experience working across functions and the ability to operate in a multi-skilled kitchen role will be highly valued.
The role requires flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. You must also understand and follow strict food hygiene requirements and Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
