About the company
Visual Domain is a leading Australian creative production agency that combines strategy, creative thinking, production and post-production to deliver content that performs. The team works with ambitious brands across advertising, branded content, social media, digital campaigns and television.
Role overview
As a Creative Producer, you will own projects from the initial brief all the way through to final delivery, making sure every production stays on track, within budget and delivered on time. You will collaborate with clients, creatives, directors, crew and post-production specialists to create high-quality content and a smooth production experience. The role also includes contributing to early creative development by bringing production insight that helps refine ideas into concepts that are more practical, stronger and more inventive.
This position suits someone who performs well in a high-pressure, fast-moving setting, can juggle several projects at once, and enjoys solving complex production challenges with creativity.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee production processes from end to end across a range of content and campaign assignments, ensuring timely delivery, budget control and high-quality output.
- Create and maintain accurate production schedules, budgets and timelines, while handling financial admin carefully and responsibly.
- Coordinate with clients, creative teams, directors, crew, talent and suppliers throughout the production journey and provide a strong client experience.
- Take charge of pre-production planning, including resourcing, logistics, permits, locations, casting and shoot readiness.
- Manage production and post-production handover and delivery, keeping all stakeholders updated, aligned and engaged at every stage.
- Identify potential risks early, resolve issues proactively and apply production expertise to strengthen creative ideas and make them more achievable and innovative.
Candidate profile
Applicants must be located in Melbourne or Sydney.
- You should have solid experience as a Producer, Senior Producer or Production Manager, ideally in a creative agency, production company or media setting.
- Background handling commercial, branded content, advertising, social or digital productions from brief to final delivery is required.
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail are essential, along with proven project management, budgeting and scheduling capability and the ability to manage multiple jobs at once.
- You must communicate clearly and professionally, and be able to build dependable relationships with clients, creatives, directors, crew, talent and suppliers.
- You should be comfortable contributing to ideation and concept development, adding practical production thinking and creative problem-solving.
- A calm, adaptable and proactive approach under pressure is important, along with a genuine interest in creativity, storytelling and content production.
