About the organisation
Radiology SA is focused on delivering excellent radiology care for patients, healthcare partners, and the wider community. The organisation places strong emphasis on its people, investing in employee development, wellbeing, and long-term success. You would be joining a collaborative group of professionals committed to high standards of care and a positive patient experience.
The role
Radiology SA is looking for a Data Analyst to support its continued improvement and growth. Working closely with finance, operations, and marketing, this role will turn data into practical insights that help guide both strategic planning and everyday business decisions. The position also supports the development of stronger data capabilities across the organisation by improving datasets, reporting, and data processes so information remains accurate, consistent, and easy to access.
Key responsibilities
- Examine and interpret data to produce insights that inform financial, operational, and wider business decisions.
- Design and support structured datasets, and write efficient SQL queries for analysis and data transformation.
- Develop, track, and refine data pipelines while maintaining reliability, performance, and data quality.
- Prepare and update reports and dashboards, presenting findings in a clear way for stakeholders.
- Work with finance, operations, and marketing teams to convert business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Protect data accuracy, consistency, and governance through documentation and established best practices.
About you
The ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar position. You should be confident using SQL at an advanced level, including building complex queries and working with structured, analytics-ready data. Experience with relational databases or data warehouses is important, along with familiarity with BI or visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau for meaningful reporting.
Hands-on experience with data pipelines or ETL workflows is required, together with a solid understanding of data quality, integrity, and reliability. You should be comfortable analysing complex information, converting business needs into workable solutions, and explaining insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong organisation, the ability to manage multiple priorities independently, and a proactive, curious mindset are also important.
What is offered
- Flexible working hours, time in lieu, and a strong commitment to work-life balance.
- A supportive team environment with committed professionals who work closely together.
- Recognition activities, social events, and appreciation for individual contribution.
- Additional benefits including a wellness program, car parking benefits, RSA Gives, and a professional development fund.
- Premium pay for the right skills and experience.
Application process
Applications are reviewed as they are received, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. The organisation welcomes applications from candidates interested in joining a supportive team and contributing to its ongoing success.
