Delivery Driver

Role overview

GSF Car Parts is hiring a Delivery Driver to serve as a key representative of the business on the road and at customer sites. In this position, you will deliver automotive parts to customers, maintain strong service standards, and share useful feedback from customers and the local market so the branch can continue improving its service.

The role contributes directly to the performance of a busy, customer-focused operation and helps strengthen the brand through professional, positive interactions.

Key duties

• Transport products to customer locations within a 40-mile area of the branch.
• Keep customer service standards consistently high.
• Share relevant information with the branch about customer activity and competitor activity.
• Load the vehicle in line with company procedures.
• Collect returns from customers when needed.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance responsibilities.
• Support warehouse activities when required.
• Help with inter-branch transfer deliveries when needed.

Working pattern

The standard schedule averages 41 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday working included.

Candidate profile

The company is looking for someone who is dependable, customer-oriented, able to work to deadlines, and committed to maintaining strong service standards. A good knowledge of the local 40-mile radius is important, along with the motivation to go the extra mile for customers.

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of the area within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
• Prior experience in a delivery driver role.
• Clear understanding of what excellent customer service looks like.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
• A customer-first attitude and willingness to go above and beyond.
