Design & Interface Manager

Role overview

We are supporting a major EPC contractor in Saudi Arabia as they look for an experienced Design & Interface Manager to contribute to a flagship mission-critical project in Riyadh. This is a long-term assignment on a large-scale development, with the project expected to run for around 2.5 years.

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across the full project lifecycle.
• Oversee the interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Make sure design outputs stay aligned with programme timelines, budget expectations, and quality standards.
• Spot design and interface issues early and work to reduce project risk and avoid delays.
• Encourage clear communication and strong collaboration among all project stakeholders.
• Track design progress and confirm compliance with project specifications, codes, and applicable standards.
• Provide technical support to construction teams and help resolve engineering-related questions.

Candidate profile

• You should bring substantial EPC project experience on complex, large-scale developments.
• Hands-on exposure to mission-critical environments is highly preferred, especially data centres, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or biopharmaceutical facilities.
• Applicants with extensive Oil & Gas EPC background will also be considered.
• A solid history of managing design coordination and cross-discipline interfaces is essential.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities are important for this role.
• Experience on projects in the Middle East would be an advantage.
